TAMPA, Fla. -- Henrik Lundqvist had a positive return performance to help the New York Rangers pull out a one-goal victory. Lundqvist made 37 saves in his first start in four games, and Mats Zuccarello had a goal and two assists in the Rangers 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday night. "Sometimes its a good thing to get a lot of work," Lundqvist said. "Theres been a lot of games where Ive been waiting for shots, and then theres been some odd-man rushes or breakaways, and its been hard to really get the game going. "A game like this definitely helps you to work on your positioning and a lot of different things, so Im pleased with the win and the way I played." Lundqvist watched from the bench as backup Cam Talbot started the previous three games, winning two, after Lundqvist struggled through a 1-4-2 stretch. "He played a real strong game, gave us a chance to win, especially in the third when they had a real strong push and they were tough to handle," Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said. "He had some huge saves to make, and he did." Rick Nash, Chris Kreider and Benoit Pouliot also scored for the Rangers, who had three power-play goals. Ryan McDonagh and Derick Brassard had two assists each. Tampa Bay got goals from Tyler Johnson, Ondrej Palat and Valtteri Filppula. The Lightning were coming off a 2-1 shootout loss Saturday night to Montreal. "They earned that victory," Lightning captain Martin St. Louis said. "We got what we deserved." The Rangers went up 4-2 on second-period, power-play goals by Kreider and Pouliot. Kreider beat Anders Lindback with a backhander at 4:35, and Pouliot extended his point streak to seven games with an in-close redirection 3:16 later. Tampa Bay pulled within 4-3 on Filppulas tip-in 8:14 into the third. It was one of 16 shots the Lightning had on Lundqvist during the period. "Hank was our best player," Zuccarello said. "He played really well for us. They had numerous chances, and we were a little bit nervous there in the third period." After Johnson tied it with a power-play goal at 10:41 of the first, Palat scored a rebound goal from the left circle to make it 2-1 with 3:55 left in the period. Nash snapped his seven-game goal drought to put the Rangers up 1-0 just 4:30 into the game. Derek Stepan set up the goal after stealing a pass by Lightning defenceman Radko Gudas. Zuccarello got the Rangers even at 2 during a power play when his pass into the low slot deflected off Gudas into the net at 18:25. The centre assisted on goals by Kreider and Pouliot. "I dont think Ive seen us mismanage the puck more," Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper said. "That was painful to watch, to be honest." LUCIE, Fla.Ross Brawn has told Sky Sports he would be prepared to work alongside Bernie Ecclestone as a new boss of Formula 1. Brawn, the mastermind behind Mercedes current domination of the sport and a key figure in Michael Schumachers record-breaking success, has been in talks with Liberty Media as the group prepare to complete their takeover of F1.Although Brawn has insisted reports he has agreed to become the sports new chief executive are wide of the mark, he has admitted to Sky Sports he would get pleasure from trying to help Formula 1 move forward and revealed he is open to filling a role alongside Ecclestone, F1s current supremo. Brawns interview with Natalie Pinkham can be seen in a special edition of The F1 Report, published at the top of the page.Asked directly whether he could return to F1 in a dream team partnership alongside marketing guru Zak Brown, Brawn acknowledged: I would be interested in such a role but there are so many things that need to be resolved first. The one thing that Bernie is not is immortal, none of us are, and at some point he has to put his pen down. Hes a very special person, hes created most of what we are dealing with today, and there will never be a replacement for Bernie. Actually working for Bernie may be a fun and interesting thing to do.During the interview, Brawn also discusses how he lured Lewis Hamilton from McLaren to Mercedes, his own exit from the Silver Arrows just months before the dawn of the hybrid era they have dominated, and his relationship with Michael Schumacher. On working with SchumiBrawn worked with Schumacher during each of the Germans seven F1 world championships but says their partnership wasnt always plain sailing. He was the most complete driver of that era. He had fabulous talent but he also had the application, the intelligence and the devotion - and a love of driving. Michael is a very honest person, he doesnt like fun and games - and Im the same. So even if we disagreed, we would thrash it out aand sort it out.dddddddddddd We were close and still are close... On signing HamiltonIn 2012, Brawn pulled off one of the most unexpected transfer coups in F1 history when he persuaded Lewis Hamilton to leave superpowers McLaren for a Mercedes outfit which had won just one race in the previous three years. We built it slowly with Lewis, explained our plans and explained what we were doing. There was an important meeting at his mums house which was a lot of fun. And it grew: Lewis started to understand what we wanted to achieve and why we hadnt achieved the results we wanted to and how critical being an engine supplier was going to be with the new regulations. And then we had the inevitable complication on the commercial side of finding a package Mercedes could afford and what Lewis felt was justified from his side... On why he left MercedesBrawn left Mercedes at the end of 2013, a decision which was linked to the recruitment, without his knowledge, of Paddy Lowe.I had my frustrations but l also had relief because what had evolved wasnt something l was comfortable with. Writing the book was therapeutic. I had many difficult decisions in my career and l tried to face them head-on. Finding out from McLaren what had happened [Lowe agreeing to join Mercedes] when they rang up and said hey, youre nicking our guy was a bit brutal...Can Nico Rosberg clinch the title at Interlagos?
