MONTREAL - Montreal is being considered to host the 2017 Major League Soccer all-star game. League commissioner Don Garber said he discussed the plan in a meeting with Mayor Denis Coderre prior to the Impacts game against D.C. United on Wednesday. Garber said it made sense for Montreal to host "an event that would be important and worthy of the anniversary of this great city, and also be able to provide a profile for the Montreal Impact."
